How this works
Your car uses energy from its battery, but charging also consumes some extra electricity. We divide your driving consumption by (1 − charging loss rate) to estimate what you pay for at the meter, then multiply by the electricity price.
Grid energy per 100 km = consumption ÷ (1 − loss rate). Cost per 100 km = grid energy × price per kWh.
